11 October was no ordinary Sunday for Logan.
While many people were enjoying a well-earned lie-in or settling down to a hearty breakfast, Logan and fellow aspiring black belt students from Karate Leadership UK (KLUK) were preparing for one of the toughest challenges in their martial arts journey.
The day began with an intense six-hour black belt grading, pushing candidates to their physical and mental limits. The demanding assessment tested every aspect of their karate training, including technical skills, sparring, kata performance, fitness and endurance.
There was no opportunity to ease off. Gruelling fitness drills, countless press-ups and continual technical assessments culminated in an incredible challenge: 1,500 punches and 1,500 waist-height kicks.
For Logan, this was the moment that brought together seven years of dedicated training, discipline and progression through the grades. Every lesson, every practice session and every challenge faced along the way had prepared him for this day.
His hard work paid off.
After successfully completing the demanding grading, Logan was awarded his 2nd Dan Black Belt, a fantastic achievement and a testament to his commitment, perseverance and determination.
Remarkably, Logan is only 10 years old.
Yet anyone who knows him will not be surprised to learn that he is already looking ahead to his next challenge. Demonstrating the enthusiasm and energy that only a young martial artist can possess, Logan has already begun training towards his 3rd Dan Black Belt.
Congratulations, Logan, on an outstanding achievement
